    My other secret reason for coming was to continue my search for the elusive European yeti Gigantopithecus modernis yetii. Deep in a forest I spied this lair from a chairlift. Note the entrance chute in the snowbank - something clearly lives here - but what? I'll just have to make another trip when I can ski super-steep, off piste, forested powder... :)
    At the edge of the patrolled ski runs warnings abounded about avalanches, impassable gorges, and the other dangers of the wilds...
