Australia in February

I'm extremely grateful to them, and to the Cruelty Free Shop in Sydney, who kindly sponsored my tour.

Another day I had the very weird experience of revisiting my old veterinary school. Last time I was here I had to fight a protracted battle to be allowed to use humane teaching methods. I eventually won it, but not before I was forced to initiate legal action against the university. This was my first return visit, and things were a little tense.
I think some of the faculty never forgave me, and boycotted my two presentations. Unfortunately those folk weren't much interested in learning about humane teaching methods when I was a student, either. But others were much more positive, and my presentations were well attended.
Erica (right) led the student group that organised my presentations, but also baked this awesome vegan chocolate cake!! Like I said, ulterior motives :)
