St Kitts ironing in December

Around mid afternoon today I looked across the water to the southern peninsula here on St Kitts and noticed that the weather was particularly dire. The peninsula seemed to be disappearing completely into a very unfriendly weather system! So I grabbed my ironing gear and headed there before the light faded completely.

This time I decided to climb the mountain to the North of Sandy Bank beach, after my legs had been shredded by the unfriendly foliage of the southern mountain last time
The way up was steep, but blissfully, there was almost no vegetation! Just the odd rockfall. I was in heaven.
In time the foliage started to reappear. Some of it was no less unfriendly than on the southern mountain, but thankfully there was far less of it!
I enjoyed sweeping views the whole way up

A very curious monkey. I don't think (s)he had seen an extreme ironer before :)
