As the last light lit the summit of Mt Tryfan and the Glyderrau range opposite, the road by Llyn Ogwen was revealed ahead, with our warm, comfy car somewhere along it.
That night we drove to Caernarfon, where we admired the massive castle in which the Prince of Wales is always crowned, whilst searching for a decent vegan dinner.
