The final summit before Mt Snowdon, where we would meet Jasmijn and party and guests arriving by mountain train, for celebrations in the summit cafe!
Mt Snowdon summit, 1,085 m! However the summit cafe here had just closed with all staff evacuated due to severity of the storm. The train had been stopped (seemingly for fear it might be blown off the mountain by what was then a raging gale). There were few guests, and no Jasmijn and party!
We managed to reach them Jasmijn's group by phone - they were struggling on a steep section, 1/2 hour below the summit. We went to rescue them...
