Finally, the big day itself, at Chateau Rhianfa on the Isle of Angelsey, just off the Welsh coast. Built in 1849 by Sir John Hay Williams, Baronet of Bodelwyddan as a gift for his wife Lady Sarah, the Château was inspired by those of France’s Loire region, where the couple were particularly enamoured with the architectural style favoured during the reign of Francois I (1515 – 1547). i.e., this is a real castle... small, but beautiful :)
