Perth, Western Australia. The world's most isolated capital, Perth is 2,500 km from Adelaide - the nearest neighbouring capital. It is beautiful and has some of the best weather and beaches in the world. Although I've not lived there for years, I still call Perth home.

The historic Malt House pub stands at the junction of three canals which each stretch from here, far across England. Once these were the highways, and this pub was at the heart of it all - as it still is today. We lived on an island a 2 min walk from here.
