For several years, PETA ran a 'Running of the Nudes' protest a few days prior to the Running of the Bulls, in Pamplona, Spain, to protest (and provide an alternate form of entertainment to) the bullfighting that occurs when these scared bulls finally make it to the bullring, where they are then killed. The 'naked' run was accompanied by music and enormous fun. The minimal amount of clothing had been agreed in a legal settlement between lawyers representing PETA and Pamplona's council, following full nudity the first year.
